
On the 31st October 2025, students of Strada Santa Anna went Study Tour to Kota Tua area. It’s in Central Jakarta. The students visited Fatahillah museum, Ceramics Museum and Indonesian Puppet Museum. They went there by big buses. The name of the buses were Blue Star Buses. The buses colored dark blue, light blue, pink, and yellow. Inside the buses were very cozy and nice. All the students felt very happy and excited to visit those museums.
Before the buses left the school, the teachers called up the students’ names first. The teachers were very discipline and strict about the regulation that all the students should join the trip and they have to be on time. When it was 07.30 they started the trip to Kota Tua area.
After almost one hour went together in the buses, the students and the teachers arrived at the museum area. The buses stopped at the parking lot and all the passengers went down to the Fatahillah museum. At Fatahillah museum, they saw many interesting ancient historical city of Jakarta. Jakarta city was colonized by Dutch. Indonesian citizen must expel the Dutch colonialist by themselves. The history that remains can be studied by all the students. The students were very enthusiastic to learn the historical things about Jakarta city progress.
Secondly, they visited Wayang museum. In the museum, the students saw very antique and rare Wayang puppets that originally made by Indonesian artists. Wayang is the traditional work of art from Indonesia. There were ancient Wayang puppets , huge Wayang puppet and Betawi Wayang puppet. All the students got explanation about Wayang puppets from the Tour guide. The expalation helped students to answers for worksheet that assigned by teachers.
At least, they went to visit Ceramics museum. At Ceramics museum, the students saw very old and unique tea set, plates and some decorations made from ceramics. Those ceramics art were created since Majapahit Kingdom. The historical values really amazed the students and made them interested to learn the historical development every period of time.
The tour ended at 01.30 pm. The students and the teachers felt very happy and fun to join the Study tour this year. Hopefully the learning that they earned that day will bring benefit for the future.
